Part of Your World was truly a magical reading experience and I have nothing but great things to say about it! Definitely add this to your summer reading TBR! as much as the previous two. Alexis’ familial dynamics with her parents were another important aspect that I thought added a lot of strength and adversity to her character. The nature of their relationship and their reservations felt very authentic and relatable. Daniel and Alexis’ connection was special from the beginning and I loved how it blossomed and grew as the story went on. The different character dynamics and relationships are what really made Part of Your World shine, however. I was hooked on the story from page one and remained glued to this book going forward. Abby Jimenez is a very talented writer, but I honestly feel like she outdid her self here. I loved reading Part of Your World way more than I had anticipated. This proves it: Abby Jimenez cannot write a bad book. ARC provided by Forever through NetGalley. A refreshingly modern fairy tale and instant New York Times bestseller that Love Hypothesis author Ali Hazelwood hails as an uplifting, feel-good.

Part of the marketing push for the album was a requirement that each band member should write at least two of the songs on it, though Roger Daltrey only wrote one ("See My Way"), so this is the Who album least dominated by Pete Townshend's songwriting. The Who's second studio album departs from the R&B emphasis of the first. The album also included a cover of the Holland–Dozier–Holland song " Heat Wave" and ends with a musical suite titled " A Quick One, While He's Away", which served as an inspiration for later rock operas that the Who would become known for. Unlike other albums by the Who, where guitarist Pete Townshend was the primary or sole songwriter, A Quick One features significant songwriting contributions from all band members, with singer Roger Daltrey contributing one song, bassist John Entwistle and drummer Keith Moon each contributing two. A version of the album with an altered track listing was released under the name Happy Jack on Decca Records in April 1967 in the United States, where the song " Happy Jack" was a top 40 hit. A Quick One is the second studio album by the English rock band the Who, released on 9 December 1966. The Shadowfell has been plumbed for material before, including in several official D&D 4E adventures (this includes the Domains of Dread, which are located in the Shadowfell, but are pretty distinct and not touched on at all in this product). It is mostly ruled by the Raven Queen, the deity who is tasked with that sorting, although she apparently isn’t as in control as she used to be. In the D&D universe, the Shadowfell is the plane where the dead go first and get sorted before (hopefully) going on to their appropriate final destination. Shadowfell is a campaign guide for D&D4E (and the title of the main book is “Campaign Guide”) – I’d normally say something like this was a campaign “setting,” but the Shadowfell seems more like a place that your campaign visits during the Paragon tier than it does a place where your campaign lives. It is tagged as being “for use with” the D&D Essentials line, but is a standard size RPG product. Shadowfell is a 128-page, full-color, softcover supplement with monster tokens and some other goodies, and retails for $30. That title is way too long to type, so let’s just go with “ Shadowfell” from here on out. The Shadowfell: Gloomwrought and Beyond is a box set/supplement for Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition. |
